米STPは、ミズーリ州セントジョセフで1953年にチャールズ・ドワイト・リゲット/ジム・ヒル/ロバート・デ・ハートによって設立された世界的オイルメーカーです。名称はScientifically Treated Petroleumの略語です。
1970年STPは、フォーミュラワンチームを設立し赤い楕円形のSTPロゴが飾られた白いスーツをレースに着用し、何千ものSTPステッカーを配布しプロモーションしました。 現在は、自動車愛好家、DIY愛好家に愛される、ライフスタイルブランドとしてRacer’s Edgeをコンセプトに進化し続けています。

STP is a global oil production company founded in 1953 by Charles Dwight Liggett/Jim Hill/Robert DeHart in St Joseph, Missouri. The name is a logo of Scientifically Treated Petroleum. In 1970, STP established an F1 team, which raced in white suits with the red oval STP logo and distributed thousands of STP stickers to promote the team. Today, under the Racer's Edge concept, the brand continues to evolve into a lifestyle brand loved by car enthusiasts and DIY enthusiasts.
